Watching Christmas films is one of our favourite ways to summon up the festive feeling, and it seems everybody has their Christmas go-to – so we’ve rounded up team B.fresh’s top picks to get you in the mood…What are your favourites?

1. Elf
‘Santa, I know him!’ A human raised by elves, let loose in New York City – what could say Christmas more than that?

2. Polar Express
‘the bell still rings for those who truly believe’, this one includes a visit to the North Pole with Tom Hanks, one for the whole family.

3. The Grinch
‘Maybe Christmas’ he thought ‘doesn’t come from a store, maybe Christmas…perhaps…means a little bit more’. Dr Zeuss gets it right every time, with his rhyming words of wisdom and loveable Who’s down in Whoville, it’s sure to get you feeling festive and a must watch.

4. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
‘Aunty Bethany: Is your house on fire, Clark? Clark Griswold: No, Aunt Bethany, those are the Christmas lights’. One from the 80s, a fun filled film about the mishaps of seasonal family get togethers.

5. Frozen
‘The cold never bothered me anyway’. Ok, it’s not technically a Christmas film…but there is singing and snow so it’s certainly enough for us! Anybody else a guilty fan..?

6. Nightmare Before Christmas
Halloween? Christmas? This Tim Burton classic covers both, telling the slightly spooky tale of Jack Skellington discovering Christmas Town.

7. Love Actually
Liam Neeson, Martin Freeman, Keira Knightley, Bill Nighy, Colin Firth, Emma Thompson and Hugh Grant dancing to Girls Aloud…need we say more?

8. The Holiday
Another sure to please rom com, two women who swap homes over Christmas and end up finding love…don’t pretend it doesn’t bring a tear to your eye!

9. Home Alone
‘Merry Christmas ya filthy animal!’ A great that never stops giving, this one has stood the test of time. A VERY young Macaulay Culkin left behind at home at Christmas whilst his family all go on holiday, what could go wrong?

10. The Snowman
One for Christmas eve, this magical short is excitement every little one feels the night before father Christmas arrives.
