3. Read a book
Reading a book can help strengthen your brain and reduces stress, also helps to reduce screen time. Here at Team B.fresh, Jemima loves taking time away from the busy job of social media to get stuck into a good book!
4. Eat healthy
We aren’t talking a super strict diet here, swapping out a biscuit with your afternoon tea and replacing it with a healthy snack bar. A well-balanced diet provides the energy you need to stay active and the nutrients to stay strong and healthy. Our sales executive Helena loves making smoothie bowls with our juices, delicious and healthy!
5. Stay hydrated
Of course, drinking lots of water has a multitude of benefits for the body. From promoting cardiovascular health to keeping your skin clear. Our juices are another great way to stay hydrated whilst getting valuable vitamins into your body.
6. Cuddle your pet!
Scientists have found that cuddle a day can have multiple psychological benefits for both you and your pet. During our team calls, Rachel’s cat is always making an appearance from her home office! She’s the star of the show!
7. Reach out to friends or family
Not being able to go out and see others during the lockdown is tough, so having the ability to reach out via messages or video chat is a great thing to do. It can boost your mood and mental health, taking your mind off the negativity in the world.
8. Get a good night’s sleep
Don’t you love springing out of bed after a good night’s sleep, ready to take on the day?! We do too! Getting a good night’s sleep can help improve your attention and concentration as well as looking after your immune system.
9. Treat yourself
If you don’t love yourself, who else will?! Give yourself the gift of having a sofa day or order your favourite takeaway. Whatever treating yourself means to you, do it!
10. Spend 10 minutes clearing clutter
Get rid of the pile of junk mail by the front door or tidy your shoes away, it may improve your sense of wellbeing. Studies have linked cluttered environments with stress and lower self-control so get cleaning!
