Our top 7 places to watch Wimbledon, that aren’t Wimbledon…

If you’ve missed out on tickets to this year’s championship and you can’t face a night of camping out in the queue for Murray Mound (We don’t blame you!), there are still plenty of places to get a taste of the action this summer. We’ve rounded up a few of the best spots below to watch Wimbledon, so pack a picnic, gather up your pals and head to one of these outdoor screenings (don’t forget to take a bottle of B.fresh cold pressed #strawberryshines…)!

1. Strawberries & Screen, King’s Cross

Head to Lewis Cubitt Square in King’s Cross and you’ll find free live outdoor screening of the tennis action, get there early to snag one of the 50 deck chairs available. Picnics welcomed and refreshments available. This screen claims to be one of the biggest and best in central London to watch Wimbledon!

2. One New Change, St Paul’s

At One New Change tennis fans can watch Wimbledon Centre Court action from the comfort of a deck chair on a Roof Terrace overlooking St Paul’s Cathedral. Bring a picnic and some friends, and sit back and enjoy the tennis – and the view!

3. Duke of York Square, Chelsea

Over in West London you can sit back and relax on the green running track in Duke of York Square. Pack a picnic or enjoy refreshments from Partridges pop-up bar, for the little ones there will even be a professional tennis coach at the Square offering complimentary lessons on how to master those Murray-esque moves. Looking for something extra special? A complimentary VIP area is available on a first come first serve basis…

4. Broadgate’s Big Screen: Sport & Film Season

This summer the big screen is back in Exchange Square showing all the live Wimbledon action, as well as other sporting events, with free popcorn and more! Broadgate’s ‘Life Meets Tech’ campaign features a full summer program of events, including pop-up tech talks, digital art, amazing dining and outdoor films.

5. Merchant Square, Paddington

In Merchant Square you can watch the Wimbledon tennis championships on this new and improved giant screen, bigger and better for 2017! Complete with deck chairs to make yourself at home.

6. Wimbledon on the Big Screen, Plymouth

This summer the Piazza in Plymouth city centre sees the whole site dressed in artificial grass, with vintage deckchairs, picnic benches, an activity zone and a range of refreshments. Fun for all the family, picnics also welcome!

7. Coopers Wimbledon Weekend

Looking for somewhere to catch the Wimbledon final? Coopers Square will be transformed with a big screen, grass area, bunting and deck chairs where you can sit back and watch the final nail biting matches. There will also be craft activities, a treasure hunt and table tennis for the kids, so that they can get perfecting that serve technique…
